Contemporary classic composer and fiddler Jocelyn Pook followed her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama by touring for iII age with the Communards; she farther broadened her musical horizons with contributions to Derek Jarman's 1986 celluloid masterpiece Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, and deuce years later on wrote the score to the DV8 Physical Theatre production My Body, Your Body. Pook continued this reconciliation act into the next 10, piece of writing for celluloid and tv productions including Jarman's Edward II, the BBC series Frantic About Music and John Smith's short film Blight patch concurrently working with pop acts of the Apostles ranging from Peter Gabriel to PJ Harvey to Nick Cave via her Electra Strings envision. In 1994, the Canadian dance caller O Vertigo commissioned Pook to score their product Torrent; the medicine was released on album ternary years later under the title Torrent. She too was chosen by legendary movie maker Stanley Kubrick to score what became his last motion picture, 1999's Eyes Wide Shut. Another solo effort, Untold Things, followed in other 2001.
