Matthew Mcconaughey - Matthew Mcconaughey Reveals Placenta Plans

Matthew McConaughey has revealed that he plans to plant the placenta from his son's birth in an woodlet to facilitate fertilise the land.

His girlfriend Camila Alves gave birth to Levi Alves McConaughey in July.

The A Time To Kill actor said the placenta should help "to bear some marvellous fruit".

"When I was in Australia, they had a placenta tree that was on the river," McConaughey said.

"The placentas of all that federation of tribes, all that clan, any aboriginal kin that was, all the placentas went under that one tree and it was this huge colossus of just now health and strength.

"This tree was just growing taller and stronger above the rest of Mother Nature around it."

His comments were made in an question for CNN's House Call with Dr Sanjay Gupta.

McConaughey is set to side by side appear on screens in Tropic Thunder alongside Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr.
